Lymphatic Balancing

The lymphatic system provides a primary defense against invading microorganisms and disease.  Lymph nodes and other lymphatic organs filter the lymph to remove toxins, microorganisms, and other foreign invaders.  This vital system also transports excess fluid and cellular debris to the blood for removal from the body.    When this important system is not working optimally, our body tissues become toxic and disease conditions are more likely to flourish.

Our lymphatic therapy techniques help to restore balance while promoting improved functioning of  the lymph system.

NOW AVIALBLE - ELECTRO-LYMPHATIC THERAPY

What is ELT?

Electro-Lymphatic Therapy is an effective, gentle, light touch non-invasive technique to stimulate the proper flow and drainage of the lymph system.  A combination of vibrational, light, and electrical waves help to stimulate the flow by causing the breakdown of proteins that have become trapped within the tissue. When trapped proteins (not to be confused with nutrient proteins) release their bond, the stagnant lymph is released and will flow out into its normal filtration and reabsorption channels, allow the lymph system to work more optimally.

ELT impacts the superficial as well as the deeper layers of the lymph system, and is beleived to be 70% more effective than manual therapies.  It can be a useful tool with numerous conditions including - General Inflammation - Lymphedema - Edema and Water Retention - Immune Enhancement - Lymes - Pre/Post Athletic Application (decrease muscle/tendon strain and healing time) - Tissue Injury - Tight/Sore Muscles - General Detox & Cleansing.

Something to consider further: Inside the lymphatic system the fluid is called lymph. Outside of the lymph system the fluid is called interstitial fluid. This is the same fluid that bathes the cells throughout our body, providing nutrients as well as being a medium for removing cellular debris (toxins and/or byproducts of cellular metabolism). Because of these important functions of the lymphatic system, stagnant lymph can decrease the absorption of nutrients to the cellular level, as well as make it more difficult for toxins to be removed from the area surrounding the cells. Using techniques (such as ELT) that enhance lymph function can help improve the functions of the cells throughout the body.  Improving cellular function will help to improve the function of the tissues and organs that the cells make up.
